B.B.O. 2002

Year two picked up where year one left off. No sophomore jinx here. Our numbers grew to 44 golfers, along with our usual crew of beer wenches and guests. The B.C. Cancer Foundation benifited by the $1000.00 we were able to raise.

Our commemorative give away was a very popular BBO beer glass, sponsored mainly by Canada Post. I know mine is still put to good use. The BBO 2000 was also the first year of "team trivia". The winners of that were the colourful team, "Rainbow Brights". Team "Hole" got us off to a great start in our new category as they walked away with the "best team costume". Hole also had this years grand champion as Maya Wilson was presented with the "Patrick Pint".

All in all, I think year two proved that year one was no fluke, and we have something special in the British Bob Open.
