British Bob Open

The letter carriers of Postal Unit K, Vancouver, British Columbia, have created an annual fund-raiser to benefit the B.C. Cancer Foundation. In 1999, one of our beloved coworkers, Robert Patrick (British Bob, as he was affectionately referred to), succumbed to cancer. In his memory, we planed a golf tournament to help raise awareness and money for this most worthwhile cause.

We are pleased to report that in our first four years, we have raised over $4,600.00, and each year has been more successful than the previous. Perhaps, more importantly, we have been able to celebrate Bob's life in his spirt of fun and camaraderie, as by all reports, each year, a great time was had by all.

We are now planning and looking forward to our fifth annual tournament to be held August; 15, 2003. Thank you for visiting our web site, and visit again soon. See you at the "British Bob Open 2003".

In this space, I'll attempt to keep you up to date on what's new with the BBO, and what I have added to this site, as it is a work in progress. I am behind, but will soon add photos from 2002.
